Omaha

Heather and I made a trip to Omaha to see Roni for a girls night. Unfortunately Stacey couldn't make it, but she got some well-deserved rest this weekend (or at least I hope so)! After we checked in to the LQ (according to Scott we shouldn't let Roni pick hotels, but it wasn't so bad! It didn't have a bar, but other than that it was fine), Scott dropped us all off at the Fox and the Hound. We talked, laughed and talked some more (really that's all we did). Well, that and a lot of circling a finger to indicate we needed another round...and another, and another and another. It was a great night and it reminds me of what is important in my life....my family and my friends. These women are so important to me and no matter how often we talk, see each other, email or get to hang out...we always pick up where we left off. I know these are people that I can count on and they can always count on me. I can't wait until we do it again in July!

Spring Break Pic

We're waiting for clean sheets and Damon fell asleep at the end of our bed. The pillows were terrible, so I folded up a sweatshirt and used that as my pillow.

Spring Break

Well, we went here for spring break. Saturday was great, we went to here for a few hours. Sunday morning we ate breakfast with my mom and her brothers and sisters. It's Uncle Doug and Aunt Deb's 60th this year (although Aunt Deb reminded us plenty of times that she is NOT sixty yet!). Uncle Doug was given the cane that has been passed down and a "sixty and sexy" hat. We also celebrated Aunt Dorothy's 70th birthday! You would never know she is 70. I am so lucky to have such wonderful aunts and uncles, it was wonderful to see all of them together! After that we went here and later this afternoon was time for the water park. It was a BLAST! Such a fun place to go, we recommend it. This is where it all goes bad. We had Guge's to our room and ordered pizza, rented a movie and then....at 12:30 p.m. Damon threw up in his bed, in his sleep. A couple hours after that Terry and I also started. Ah yes, all three of us with the flu in a hotel room. Caroline also got sick that night. Ethan, Damon and the dads went to the Timberwolves game on Monday (Damon and Terry spent most of the night in the bathroom). I decided not to go and hung out in my room. Caroline wasn't feeling good yet, so Monica stayed behind with her. Then Tuesday morning, check-out day, Monica has the flu now! OH GEEZ! So much for our plan (Monica's and mine) to stop at the Medford Outlet Mall on the way home. Needless to say, not many pictures, but I'll post what I did take tomorrow night.

Blogging or lack there of & Congrats Mrs. Cole!

So....I'm not so good at this blogging thing. We take a short trip this weekend, so hopefully I'll have some pictures from that. Then I get to have a girls weekend.....SO looking forward to that! More pictures! And finally Damon has started baseball season. We have one schedule, but the other hasn't been posted yet. Once I have it, I'll send it out. Anyone welcome, any time! Definitely more pictures to come after the games start early April.

Last but not least, CONGRATULATIONS to my new assistant principal friend, Mrs. Cole! She's an amazing person, mom, teacher, and friend. I can't wait to see her over girls weekend. Stacey, Roni, Heather and I are going to have a blast! Stacey is brining a friend from SL too so she won't have to ride alone.
